Hello!
Welcome! I’ve been wanting to find a little corner of the internet where I could express myself creatively and I thought this would be a nice place to start!
A little bit about me - I was born and raised in Los Angeles before deciding to venture out to the frigid east, NYC. I spent the past 10+ years working in various forms of media/entertainment which led me to the realization that I have an insatiable need to tell stories. There is something just so powerful about its ability to evoke emotions of pain, loss, and happiness through situations that you’ve never experienced or just put your thoughts into words.
In 2017, my dear friend Christine and I decided to launch our podcast “Perfectly Imperfect.” It started out as a way for us to talk about our experiences openly and honestly as Asian American women, but as it evolved, we got to see the power of vulnerability first hand. We started to invite our friends to join in on the conversations and discuss topics such as how to get out of a toxic relationship, disappointing our immigrant parents, body positivity, etc. This has sparked a fire in me to keep creating, so the rest is yet to be written.
Other passions of mine include beauty/skincare, anything gimmicky, trying new foods, and traveling the world. I can recite lines from every episode of Friends and 30 Rock, and spend way too much time watching animal videos. On any given day, you can find me wandering the streets of New York looking for a coffeeshop to sit at or snuggled up with a good tv show, and by good tv I mean reality shows.
